Do I need tenant insurance?
Yes, rental companies require tenants to have insurance to protect their personal belongings from fire, theft, and water and sewer back-up. We recommend that you arrange your insurance prior to moving and can even get insurance from our partner company, Campbell & Haliburton Insurance.
Why does CH Living require a credit check and does this hurt my credit score?
Credit checks are performed to ensure that a prospective tenant can afford the rent. Rent should be manageable for tenants to avoid financial stress, while landlords rely on it to maintain properties and sustain investments.
CH Living does soft credit checks rather hard credit checks. This means that the credit checks we do will definitely not hurt your score!
Are pets allowed? What are the policies and fees?
Some of our properties allow pets with certain restrictions and additional fees. Please check with our leasing office for specific pet policies.
Is parking available? What are the parking options and fees?
Parking availability and fees vary depending on the property. Please inquire with our leasing office for parking options at your desired location.
What do I need to provide for my rental application?
The CH Living rental team will perform a credit check and ask for proof of income (such as pay stubs or employment verification), as well as personal and previous rental references.
